Recently while consulting on a website design and optimization project my client was not worried how the website would look or perform. It turns out that my clients bottom line concern was about how to get people to come their website once it was created, optimized, and online.
I proceeded to lay out a plan that would deliver traffic at an increasing rate if applied and implimented on a consistent basis.
1. For an initial burst of traffic I recomend implimenting Click Thru Marketing, a good resource to use is: http://wwwGoneClicking.com
2. Next you should submit your blog or website to Google and yahoo, 77% of people use Google so you must have your site submitted there first including your site map. It may take a few days before your blog or site shows up in the search engines so do not worry if on the first or second day your site is not listed.
3. Now you should start gathering back links and joining social networking sites such as FaceBook and MySpace, and tell people what your blog or website is about plus how it can help solve their problem. Go to Google and type in keywords that are related to your blog or website. Contact the websites or blog and tell them you would like to exchange back links with them. A good back link list numbers around 100 or more so it will take some time to establish however it will be worth it in the long run.
4. Make sure you optimize your blog or site for the keywords that you want to target.
5. Next, establish a Youtube account. There are over 40 million users that visit youtube every day. If you are not promoting your website with Youtube you are missing a lot of worthy customers and clients. Always use a catchy title for the video and advertise your video on other websites.
6. Another great way to drive people to your website is by using Google adwords. As an addition to Google Adwords you can also use Adsense to put your ads on other people’s websites which is an additional way to earn money as well. If you want people to come to your website sign up for Google adwords, it does not cost much and can return a greater sum than the amount you invest. Your ads will be listed on peoples sites containing content like yours and on the Google search engine itself! If you do look into this just sign up for a Google account and go to Adwords it can be well worth your money.
Always to Your Success,

Are you new to article writing and marketing and want to learn effective writing strategies so that you can get it right the first time?
Or
Are you tired and frustrated of spending your time and energy writing article after article without seeing any results?
The truth of the matter is that anyone can write articles and be successful once you know how to do it properly. With that being said I have put together 3 effective article writing strategies that have worked well for me and that you can copy as well if you want to.
When you first get started ask yourself the following questions:
1) What are the people that you are writing for looking for when they get online?
2) What kind of information are they searching for and why?
3) Does your information solve their problem or relate to how to help them solve their problem?
Make your title catchy so that your readers actually want to read the rest of your article. Use descriptive words to create curiousity and make sure to use your keywords in your title.
Hint: Remember “Whats In It For Me” because this is what your reader really wants to know and is interested in. It will also cause them to read further or click away from your article so craft your tittle carefully.
Once you have identified your target marketing you will more than likely be writing articles to promote some kind of product or service. You are also writing in order to get traffic to your website which will convert into sales. One of the most significant aspects of effective writing is finding and integrating the right keywords into your articles. Many article writers don’t understand the importance of keywords. Keyword phrases are what gives you high ranking in the search engines and at the same time they are the keywords your readers are entering into the search engines. If your article lacks the right keywords you are wasting your time and will not see the results that you deserve.
Hint: Use your keywords in your title and throughout your article.
Another key to making your articles convert is how you use your resource box. Your resource box should present an irresistable reason for the reader to click the link provided in your resource box. There are scores of writers that format their resource boxes all wrong or forget to do them at all. Think of your resource box as a 30 second commercial about why the reader should go to your site. Make sure you tell them to click on your link.

I want to share some valuable information about how to avoid Search Engine Optimization stagnation and offer a no cost course on how to avoind costly SEO mistakes. When a new web site owner recieves their website and they play around with it and tweak it (even if it’s a blog) usually nothing further happens aside from your standard marketing and advertising that most marketing professionals undertake. Most new business owners just allow their site or blog to collect dust so to speak while they are waiting for customers to appear.
One of the prominent myths that guru’s perpetuate is that once your web site is published and functioning online you will experience instant success and that however is unfortunately not what happens. That little fact is part of the big reason that millions of marketing and advertising courses are bought and sold every day without further thought into why a site or blog is not performing as anticipated.
*Caution* There are allot of consultants and companies out there that will charge you an arm and a leg for what they call search engine optimisation. One thing I urge you to do is know what you are really getting and have a clear understanding of what the results of their actions will allow you to achieve because while it’s possible they’ve got the skills they say they have, a majority of the so called experts actually delivers anything of any real value unless you know what it is you want them to do.
Here are a few tips that will allow you to do it yourself or at least have a baseline of knowledge to know what you want for your site or blog:
1) Keywords: There are many sites on the internet that offer analysis of your web site, equipping you with a list of valuable keywords just do a search and you will find one that is right for you.
2) Sitemap: Make sure you have a clean sitemap for your website and submit it to the search engines.
3) URL Submission: Make sure your URL or website address is submitted to the top search engines available on the web. Again, do a search for submission services or do it yourself to save some money.
4) Links: Add and exchange your link with as many sites as you possibly can in order to increase your chances of being found. Keep in mind that you should first link with sites that share something in common with your area of expertise.
5) Directories: Add your site or blog to business and specialist directories on the internet.
Search engine optimisation takes time and results will vary, it could take up to 60 to 90 days or more to start to see results but you will and when it happens all your hard work will have been worth it.
