How To Get Top SEO Rankings

by TheMarketingProfessional

Search Engine Optimization or SEO refers to a strategy in doing internet marketing where the owner of a certain website uses the search engines to drive traffic to their sites. The search engines are the ones used by many people in finding information they need through the links of different sites.

Although there are hundreds of search engines online that people can use, the three major ones are Google, Yahoo, and MSN. What these search engines do is let loose their spiders, so these bots can crawl through all corners of the Internet to find all matches to the keywords that the user has typed in the search bar.

So, for those who own and maintain websites, spiders will find their contents when certain words match and the links will be displayed in the results pages of the search engines. When the links are displayed at the first page, then there is already a captured traffic. People would click on to the site options enumerated by the search engine, and they will check out what that sites have to offer.

What site owners should work on with their search engine optimization efforts, is to understand how these search engines are looking for the information and what their protocols are in putting what site in what spot in the search results pages.

Keywords are the key. These are the words that people would type when they need something. So, if you are a site owner and you have a certain product offering, you have to grab hold of the list of keywords related to your site and product. These are the ones that your target audience will most likely type when they’re searching online.

Now, how important is SEO to a site owner looking to earn an income doing internet marketing?  Very.  Why?  Because it is so much better to be getting hundreds of visitors who are interested and are therefore already captured, than a handful of accidental browsers. Since there is a huge increase in the number of people that are already doing business and loads of other stuffs online, your goal should be to land on the topmost part of the first page of the search results. When you manage to do that, then you get all the possible targets instantly when they click.

Optimization involves the play-up of keywords and their strategic placements in the web pages. The primary spots where spider bots crawl to are the headings, subheadings, titles, and the domain name of the website. They next scan through the contents and linger on the first paragraph.

Knowing where to properly place your keywords in your website and in your contents or articles will help you come up with a good strategy to lure the bots and flag you. When you know the right keywords, you can start working on the contents, which could come in the form of blogs, forums, chats, articles, reviews, reports, tutorials, e-books, videos, etc.

But, putting keywords isn’t everything. You will have to really work on providing interesting, informative and useful content – and this is not a one-time effort only. You will have to continuously come up with creative ideas if you want to keep on working on your SEO strategies.

Tips to Try Before Buying links

by TheMarketingProfessional

It may sound good but site wide links are really not all that hot as it means that links are all over the website, nearly in every page. An example could be that site having ten thousand pages offering ten thousand backlinks. The point is that Google usually ignores many of the links which are emanating from the same site. This means that though all the ten thousand backlinks may not be treated as pointers but you would still get some value nevertheless.

Other methods of buying backlinks include article and directory submission as well as from blog networks. It is recommended that you do not purchase several directory submission services as in all probability, they position towards matching sites. To locate the best type of directory submissions, you have to do some extensive research. A good deal is when you get a thousand directory submissions.

Article submission also holds the same rules so when buying such services make sure that submissions are not made to the same directories and hence it is wise to ask for lists or samples of directories where such submissions would be made. You would be considered to have got yourself a good deal if you get a thousand article directory submissions. Your search for bettering the deal ends here, as after this, it is going to be really tough work.

Understand that backlinks purchase means that a lot of links are directed towards your site. Though this is great, just make sure that you use several types of anchor texts. Create some variations of your main keyword and use all of them, some six or eight variations are probably enough. Variation in the keywords mean when you make new keywords out of the main keywords keeping the main keywords as it is. Do not give this matter too much importance except make sure that there are variations made at times. Another important thing to look for when buying backlinks on a network of blogs is that the blogs are not on the same IP address. Pageranks are not than important for the blogs but they must all be indexed, to say the least.

Some deals could include purchase of links of pagerank sites which are high on the ladder, but such links are priced very high. Such deals should not be struck with a low budget but if you buy many links from sites which have zero to low pagerank, it could still make good business sense. At the very least, always make sure the websites are at least indexed and then your home based business will be on the road to quality traffic.
