I have had a lasting fondness for The Marketing Professional Blog way before I purchased the domain in 2005. In fact I have done allot of soul searching and have made up my mind that in order to really focus on my personal blog and my web traffic business it’s time to part ways with this labor of luv and all of the content that has become it’s essence.
My goal is to find an entrepreneurial owner that will give TMP a brighter future than what I am currently capable of or have done in the past. I am not going to sell it to just anyone although if the price is right I may make an exception ;-}
So here are the stats and demographics relating to The Marketing Professional Blog:
TheMarketingProfessional.com was purchased in June of 2005, when you invest in this site you also receive the .net and .info domains as well so that is an added bonus.
This blog is 3 years old – there are a total of 196 posts with 121 comments at last count. The current page rank is: 2
There are 43 Alexa and 450 yahoo backlinks to this site.
TheMarketingProfessional.com rank has increased 234% over the last 3 months.
Currently it reaches roughly 5,250 users and delivers about 11,610 pageviews each month.
I never ran adwords on the site so there is no standard way of evaluating revenue estimations however I can tell you that I leveraged the site to create valuable friends as well as clients for other businesses that I participate in and that has been quite profitable. I can not make an income claim or I would be breaking a law or two plus violating binding non-disclosure agreements with people and businesses that I can not name.
First buyer to offer $5,000.00 (Five Thousand Dollars) receives the 3 domains mentioned above plus the related content on this blog if desired minus copyrighted material unless expressly noted in purchase agreement.
I accept paypal or alertpay and am only accepting bids from serious investors only!

Did you know that Search Engine Optimization or SEO for short is not a secret language that only nerds know and exploit it to make thousands of dollars from needy marketers who can’t comprehend the importance of page rank? The real deal is, there really are no SEO secrets just search engine optimization best practices and once you understand the fundamentals of optimizing a blog or website you can open up new avenues of traffic and search engine ranking that will improve your results and put a smile on your face.
To be serious for a moment a complete newbie can become quite overcome when even attempting to think about SEO but keep reading and I will explain how you can change all the frustration and turn it into jubilation. Proper blog and website optimization and backlinks is really what you need to learn and one of my favorite resources comes from StomperNet

One of the first things to do is to test the functionality of your blog or website to see how search engine friendly it is. You will need to check for things like keywords, HTML code, and what is contained in your meta tags.
If you apply sensible strategies on a regular basis then your rankings will begin to rise.
Here are some basic SEO Marketing Strategies:
* When you build a website or blog consider the target market you wish to address. Your audience will dictate how your website promotes your particular product or service. Additionally your keywords will influence this as well.
* Use relevant keywords that will apply to your target audience. Keywords should be focused and laser targeted, instead of broad. Broad keywords are very competitive and you dont want to be competing with a ton of other webmasters who will have more established sites and therefore always outrank you.
* Next, analyze what your competition is doing. Check to find out who is ranked the highest and how they got achieved such high rankings. Research to see what keywords they are using by looking at the page source of their site.
* Check things such as meta tags and titles. Your main keywords must be listed in both of these areas. Article titles need to contain your main keyword and the content itself should at least use it and a variation of this keyword or phrase throughout the article.
Additonally, if you create links back to your blog or website this will greatly enhance your ranking position on the search engines. One way links are a great way of doing this even if you don’t receive links back from another site.
My highest recomendation is to click on the banner above and start learning SEO for yourself.

I read a terrific article in the SEO-news called “How to recognize a bad SEO company” this past week, it was a great article and it really got me thinking about how marketing professionals can get taken advantage of by bad SEO experts. With that being said I want to share a few key points of what not to do or who not to hire and then share with you who I recomend for learning to apply SEO from a marketing standpoint so read on.
* Be warry of would be SEO Gurus who promise to deliver a large amount of backlinks overnight. Quality backlinks are not just created in a manner of moments and that is what you want, quality not quantity.
* Do not hire anyone who claims to use “Black Hat” or secretive methods to get you “to good to be true” results. Usually these types of people take the money and run before they are of any help to you and that just ends up setting you back not moving you and your business forward.
* Use caution when outsourcing your Search Engine Optimization and know who is submitting what to which search engines. Anyone who tells you that they will submit your site for cheap and promises great rankings is just trying to rip you off!
O.K. now that you know a few things to look out for, how will you know what to do and how to do it?
I recomend StomperNet and their monthly journal The Net Effect it is the best resource hands down for marketers that want to learn about SEO on their own and create a reliable list of who to work with in regards to marketing matters and SEO.
