Getting Customers to Your New Online Business

by TheMarketingProfessional

Congratulations, you have your website or blog set up and it’s time to start promoting what you have to offer.  You know that in order for your site or blog to be successful you must generate traffic and the more visitors  to your site that you have that means more sales and more money for you and your affiliates.

There are many ways to generate website traffic:

Pay per click is an example of paid traffic method.

But for a new internet marketer with limited budget often paid methods are simply not feasible. So you should think about getting free website traffic.

One of my favorite methods is to use a Click Thru Marketing Service like GoneClicking.com  GoneClicking.com - Drop A Line With The Pros and Start Reeling In Sales Today!

You should also submit your website to directories like: Yahoo, MSN, and Google.  Make sure you submit your site in the correct section of your niche.  Write articles and submit them to article directories with your site link in resource box. When more and more websites publish your articles, you will get as many back links and the visitors of that site may click on the link and come to your site.

Try getting back links from authority sites in your niche.  Back links means that your market place is giving you a vote of acceptance. When authority sites accept you, you will enjoy high rankings in the search engines.

Join forums in your niches and make some valuable comments and use your website link as your signature line. Before doing this make sure you read their rules and that you are allowed to do that otherwise you will be removed from the forum. Another advantage of visiting these forums is that you will know the pulse of your target market.

Once you have visitors at your site or blog make sure you capture their name and email address using an opt in form. There are many types of forms available.  Also keep in mind that a visitor may not buy from you on their first visit. Once you have his or her contact details, you can make offers that may be of interest to them. You can automate this process by using a reputable auto responder.  Currently I am using Aweber.

This has been a basic tutorial to compliment the previous post on article marketing, leave me a comment on what has worked well for you or if you have another marketing related question.

Always to Your Success,

Tips to Geting Repeat Web Traffic

by TheMarketingProfessional

Tips to Get Repeat Web Traffic

1. Update the pages on your website frequently. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date counter on the page to show when it was last updated.

2. Offer additional value on your website. For affiliates and partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with your own product.

3. You can allow customers to ‘opt in’ to get discounts and special offers. Place a link on your site to invite customers to ‘opt in’ to get a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons.

4. Add a link to your primary page with a script ‘Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites’.

5. Add a link ‘Recommend this site to a Friend’ so that the visitor can email your website link, with a prewritten title, “Thought you might be interested in this”, just by clicking on it.

6. Brand your website to increase traffic so that visitors always know they are on your site. Use consistent colors, logos and slogans and always provide a ‘Contact Us’ link on each page.

7. Create a ‘Our Policies’ page that clearly defines your philosophy and principles in dealing with your customers. Also post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are secure when they visit your site.

8. Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the doubts and clarifications about your product or your company that are likely to be asked. This helps to resolve most of the customers doubts in their first visit to your site.

8. Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site if they lose the book mark, one key to free website traffic.

9. Never spam a client, who has opted for newsletters, with unsolicited emails. Later if they decide they want to ‘opt out’ of the mailings, be sure you honor their request and take them off the mailing list. They may still come back if they like your products. But they will certainly not come back if you continue to flood their email box with mails they no longer wish to receive.

Everyone who creates a website wants to get web traffic to their site. It doesn’t matter if the site is a hobby site, professional blog site, news site, or a one page sales letter people want to increase traffic to their sites. Rarely is it like the “Field of Dreams”, often “if you build it”, they will not come. They don’t come because they don’t know that your site exists. The purpose of this article is to give you several tips to not only get traffic to your site, but to have visitors comeback again and again.

What Marketing Professionals Include In A Good Sales Presentation

by TheMarketingProfessional

A good sales presentation is important to all of us that are marketing products. Hopefully, we have a product that is marketable and will virtually sell itself before we ever have to make a sales presentation. The wellness industry has literally hundreds of different nutritional supplements available for distributors to sell.

Here are some key items to include in a good sales presentation for nutritional supplements:

One of the key elements to include in a good sales presentation is the background of the supplement. For example, if you are giving a sales presentation for Zeolite, you can provide information on how Zeolite was created. For more please visit Business Presentations

Additionally, you can talk about the forms that Zeolite is available in for the consumers. It is important to identify the product that is the target of the sales presentation. If I have no idea what you are marketing to me, I am not going to be able to connect the later aspects of the sales to the product. Bring in some samples of the product as well as have some set out for people to see for the sales presentation.

What benefits does the product have for the consumer? Are there testimonials that can be shared with the group for the sales presentation? Letting the potential buyer know the immediate and long term benefits of a product will help them to visualize using the product. They will be able to focus on what they receive from using the product. You are your best testimonial. Let the buyers know what immediate and long term benefits you received from the product. For example, if you are marketing Zeolite, what were the changes in your body that you noticed after taking the liquid droplets for a month? For more please visit Business Presentations

What is the target of your sales presentation? Do you want the buyers to be regular customers? Are you building a social network of potential referrals and affiliates? Now that the group understands what the product is, the benefits you need to focus on, and what action you want from the group. If the purpose is to sign them up as a referral or affiliate, the focus on the next part of the sales presentation is how easy it is to promote the product. After all, they have already seen how useful the product is for not only themselves, but also for future customers. If the purpose of the sales presentation is to gather new customers, focus on the savings and a promotional aspect of the product. For example, offer a special that is only available if they purchase one or more of the product right after the sales presentation is complete.

Take time for questions. Often people think of questions during a sales presentation. Know your product well and be willing to take questions. If by chance you do not know the answer to a question, tell the group that you will find out the answer for them and email it to them. Instead of saying you do not know, turn it to a positive that you will get the information and pass it along to them. For the majority of time, you will know the answers to the questions. In fact, it will probably be something you have already covered in the sales presentation and can just re-emphasize again for the group. For more please visit Business Presentations
